This year’s Halloween Costume: Lili(y) and Vivian from Pushing Daisies

November 1, 2010

My friend Vivian had a great idea: Seeing as our names were already matching, we should dress up as Aunts Lily and Vivian from Pushing Daisies. (For whatever reason, we switched roles, so Vivian was Aunt Lily and I was Aunt Vivian). Only those who have seen the show got it, but we had a hoot digging up leopard prints and Chinese silks, trying to make Vivian’s wig (from an earlier costume) work, and making a bejeweled eye patch.

I’m pretty sure we laughed harder at the whole thing than anyone else did.

Also thanks to Kohleen, for all your costuming help!

That is amazing! You look good as a dark haired person.
